01The brief
The villa sits inside Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez, a private gated estate. Its owners let it by the week and wanted guests to come to them directly, not through a rental platform.
The photographs, video and 360° tour are by Virtual Real Estate. The site’s job was to give them room, and to make asking for a week simple in French or English.
02What I built
Room for the photographs
A cream page, a quiet serif and wide frames, so the pictures carry it. The gallery gives each frame its own space as you scroll.

Step inside first
A guided 360° tour walks through every room at the guest’s own pace, before they ask for a single date.

Requests, not instant bookings
Guests ask for their dates and the owners decide. Two parties can ask for the same week; the owners see both and choose, from an admin panel built for them. A visitor can send a request and read nothing back, so no guest ever sees another’s dates or details.

On a phone, 390 pixels wide.

03Under the hood
Next.js · Supabase with row-level security · Resend · No cookies
- Overlap allowed, on purpose
- Requests for the same week are held side by side as “on request” until the owners choose between them.
- Nothing in the middle
- No cookies, no analytics and no payment processing: a direct-booking site with no platform between guest and owner.
- French first
- Every page exists in French and English, and French is the default when the site can’t tell a visitor’s language.
