Custom web apps, built around your business
Booking systems, client portals, dashboards and internal tools, designed and built by one developer for businesses in Charlotte and across the US.

- 60database tables in ConsultBase, every one under row-level security
- 50+tools its AI associate can use, across 13 areas of a practice
- 0booking platforms between the villa’s guests and its owners
01Running now
ConsultBase, a client portal for consultants
My own product. Each consultant gets a portal in their own brand, and clients sign in with a link sent by email to find their engagements, documents, invoices and messages in one place. Ivy, the built-in AI associate, shows every change as a preview before it happens, and billing keeps up on its own: milestones raise invoices and recurring plans charge a saved card on schedule.

Villa L’Estagne, bookings the owners decide
Guests ask for their dates and the owners choose, from an admin panel built for them. Two parties can ask for the same week and the owners see both; no guest ever sees another’s dates or details, and no booking platform sits between the guest and the owners.
02Demonstrations
Built to show what a capability looks like before a contract exists. These are demonstrations, not client work.
- LiveNC Precinct LookupAny North Carolina address to its precinct and districts, on a live map of all 2,625 precincts you can pan, tilt and click.
- LiveNC Housing TerminalA Bloomberg-style housing map of North Carolina: every ZIP code as a live choropleth of Zillow home-value change. (opens in a new tab)
- LiveAccessionA museum records puzzle that teaches SQL: thirty-six levels across six cases, each one a real query against a real database running in your browser.
- Interface conceptOps Queue TriageA 420-row exception table: keyboard-first, filters you can share as a link, and a CSV export that survives Excel.
- Interface conceptFee EngineOne pricing calculator, four industry rule sets, and every rate is editable data, not code.
03What I build
- Client portals
- A private place for each client: documents, invoices and messages, with sign-in by a link sent to their email. ConsultBase is one.
- Bookings and requests
- Dates, appointments or quotes that come straight to you, with an admin panel to decide them, as the villa’s owners do.
- Dashboards and internal tools
- The screens a team works from all day: dense tables, filters and exports, as quick from the keyboard as with a mouse.
- Calculators and maps
- Quotes, fees and lookups people can run for themselves, from a pricing engine to a map of every precinct in the state.
04How they’re built
Next.js · TypeScript · Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security · Stripe · Vercel
- Security in the database
- Who can see what is enforced by Postgres itself, not by a filter in the interface that someone has to remember to write.
- Every change on a preview first
- You try each change on a private preview link, on your own phone, before it reaches your customers.
- Yours to keep
- You own all of it, so if you ever move on, it goes with you.
- Fast where it counts
- Pages are built ahead of time where they can be, so the screens people use every day open without a wait.
05Questions
What does a custom web app cost?
Every project gets a fixed written quote after our first call, so you know the full price before anything starts.
Apps vary more than websites do, so that first call is about what the app has to do, who uses it and what it has to connect to.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Everything is built for phones first, and an app can install to a phone’s home screen as a Progressive Web App, with no app store in between.
Can it connect to the tools I already use?
Usually. ConsultBase takes payments through Stripe and books meetings into Google Calendar and Outlook. The first call is where we find out what yours needs to talk to.
Do I own it?
Yes, all of it. If you ever move on, it goes with you.
Do you work with businesses outside Charlotte?
Yes, anywhere in the US and abroad. The clients so far include a holiday villa in Saint-Tropez, France, and a software company in Stuttgart, Germany; calls and preview links work the same wherever you are.
